Who the #@$% is Jay Nog?
After the devastation of 9/11, Jay Nog chose to save the
world through comedy. The healing powers of animal voiced
ejaculates, awkward bedtime explorations, and unearthing
moments from his time as an elementary science teacher in
Brooklyn are some medicinal cures Nog explores. Still, you
can’t knock Jay Nog for trying. In all seriousness,
Jay Nog is like sketchy General Tso Chicken, sweet and nasty.
His mother has been known to pop up in club audiences, but
that does little than to expose another target for Nog’s
witty analysis with a twist of raunch.
Jay Nog began experimenting with comedy in various forms
at SUNY Albany, where he brought sketches and characters
to University radio. Nog’s experience in the elementary
classroom and on stage at clubs and colleges around the
Northeast give him broad appeal without diluting that devilish
sneer or playful sarcasm.
Jay Nog is the twenty-something everyman, the boy-next-door
after the frat party has cooled and you’re left with
loans, a live-in girlfriend, and highly charged points of
view on everything from contemporary politics to losing
your virginity with a stuffed animal. To Nog, everything
is fair game, most certainly himself.
Jay Nog is featured in Talent in Motion magazine as one
of NYC’s “top up-and-coming comics” and
as a guest host on AMC’s “Movie Date Night”.
He recently got a haircut, but started biting his nails
again; a man of many contradictions. Come see Jay Nog at
